Normally Jesus is considered as the best of the Best of the Best Doctors  the world has seen as he could heal all type of sickness and mental disabilities . I consider here he is also the best of the best Engineers the world has seen as evident from the highly loaded mathematical answer of high intellect he gave to peter in the following occasion. All students who prepare for any test containing quantitative aptitude test shall pray to Jesus for giving a drop of this wisdom. You can see  from the passage below that Jesus’s answer to peter’s question is much beyond today’s requirement of a students’ quantitative aptitude ability. Remember Jesus was taught by a Carpenter father. In my village, Carpenters are normally considered as mathematical experts. It is true that no can become a good carpenter without mathematical aptitude.

Peter’s ego among the disciples  might have been bloated like a balloon   when Jesus declared in front of all disciples that Peter  could answer correctly because  “ the truth was revealed to him personally by my father in heaven”. [In Mathew 16:17 ]. Peter got this  praise from his master in front of all. He would have been in cloud 9 at that time as no other disciple got a praise like this from master. With his ego up and chest up, he  followed his  Master Jesus Christ. His ego might have made him to believe that he  now have the wisdom from heaven and can  get all right answers  to any complicated issues compared to other disciples.

At this time Peter wants to reassure his belief  in front of his friends. He  then prepared a question and asked his master. A simple question and  expected a simple affirmative answer from his Master? An affirmative answer will prove in front of all others that he has now got the required wisdom. So he asked “ How many times I should forgive my brother ? 7 times, Correct ? It was a closed ended question to Jesus and what he wanted was a nod or yes from his Master. Seeing the Peter with his bloated ego [ Ego of having the belief of knowing everything],Jesus gave him an answer which neither peter could understand nor we can get it. A marvellous spontaneous answer of highly loaded mathematical statement. [Mathew 18: 21]

The master says ‘Not seven times, but seven seventy times. We normally   tend to think seven seventy times means  490 times, Because 7 multiplied by 70 is 490 . 490 is a number you can count. But  I think the master said was not  490 times but it was  seven seventy times [77777,77777  77777,77777 77777,77777 77777,77777 77777,77777 77777,77777 77777,77777].

In fact these many times you should forgive your brother. If this is the number, can u find how many times in an hour in a day one should forgive.[ An average life 70 years, each year 360 days and 7 hrs a day ]. Even with the help your calculator or computer it will take some time to calculate. So he taught Peter a lesson again that with your belief of your own ability, you cannot approach me  and he was grounded with that. His ego  vanishes here.  We too are not different from peter. Are we  not ?  

Jesus tries to remove the ego of peter through various tests like this. Here he makes it clear that you can never approach GOD and win him with your knowledge. Knowledge or compliance to rules cannot win over GOD.  In fact Jesus wants you to understand only one thing, whatever be your qualification, position or achievement, you are nothing. What he wants is not your compliance to rules or knowledge of  bible ,but your total dependence to  GOD.
